Tianjin holds a special place in the hearts of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, as it was their second hometown where they met, got to know each other, and fell in love, embarking on the path of revolution. Together, they weathered storms and shared joys, ultimately choosing to scatter their ashes into the Haihe River. The people of Tianjin cherish a profound affection for Premier Zhou and Comrade Deng. Since its inauguration on February 28, 1998, the memorial hall has become a beacon of remembrance.

Distinctively, this Memorial stands as the only one that honors these two couple politicians. It serves as a sacred ground to recall their illustrious lives, delve into their philosophical thoughts, showcase their monumental achievements, perpetuate their revolutionary aspirations, and propagate their spirit of revolution.
