Be situated north of the picturesque Tianjin Waterside Park, the Memorial to Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao covers an area of 60,000 square meters with a total floor space of 7,150 square meters. It is simple and elegant. On the square of the Memorial, the giant granite sculpture, the pavilion, commemorative trees, lawns, flowers and plants set off the main building, with quiet surrounding and solemn atmosphere. In the Memorial there are plenty of collections and its value is precious. The historical relics, documents, photos and data are over 8,000, the rare of which is over 100 including the cinerary casket, held Zhou’s ash afterwards Deng’s; the JIM Car, used by Zhou and Deng; the letters between them and the plane, used for their inspecting and visiting at home and abroad, at present, which is one of the biggest revolutionary relics in our country, etc.
The Memorial is subdivided into the Respect-paying Hall, the Life Story Hall, the Great Passion Hall and the Special Plane Hall. |
